The one player in this list to have played for Chelsea, Tottenham, and Arsenal, William Gallas began his spell in England with the Blues.He formed a rock-solid defensive partnership with John Terry which propelled Chelsea to win their first league title in half a century.He moved to Arsenal in 2006 after a major controversy that led to Chelsea issuing a statement that Gallas threatened to deliberately score own goals if he wasn't allowed to leave Stamford Bridge.The French center-back made 159 appearances for Chelsea, and after four seasons and 101 appearances for the Gunners, he moved to Tottenham in 2010.

William Gallas

Colin Lee joined Tottenham Hotspur in 1977 and made an instant impact by scoring four goals on his debut in a 9-0 win over Bristol Rovers. He helped Spurs to gain promotion that season.He returned to the second division three years later and signed for Chelsea for £200,000.With the Blues, Lee scored 36 goals in 185 appearances between 1980 and 1987. He helped Chelsea win promotion to the First Division after winning the Second Division in 1984.

Terry Venables started his career at youth level at Chelsea.The midfielder graduated from their academy in 1960 and made over 200 appearances in his six-year stay in West London. He made his senior debut at the age of just 15 and many newspapers at that time labeled him as the new "Duncan Edwards".Tottenham Hotspur signed him in 1966 for £80,000. Venables later went on to feature for QPR and Crystal Palace.

FA Cup and Uefa Cup winner with Tottenham, Graham Roberts made over 200 appearances for the Lillywhites between 1980 and 1986.The defender moved to Glasgow with Rangers between 1986 and 1988 before returning to London with Chelsea in August 1988 for a £475,000 fee.At Chelsea, Roberts made 70 appearances and helped his side win the Second Division championship in the 1988-89 season.An interesting fact about Roberts' Tottenham stint is that in the FA Cup final of 1981, he lost three teeth while defending for his team, and despite that, he refused to leave the field.

One of the greatest players in Tottenham Hotspur history, Glenn Hoddle was one of his generation's most gifted and creative English footballers.After starting his career at youth level at Spurs, Hoddle made 490 senior appearances for them, scoring 110 goals between 1975 and 1987 before moving to Monaco.He stayed for four years with Monaco before returning to England in 1991 with Swindon Town.After another two seasons with the Wiltshire-based club, Hoddle joined Chelsea in 1993 and became a player-manager at Stamford Bridge.

A typical old-fashioned centre-forward and expert at mind games with defenders and goalkeepers, Bobby Smith was spotted by Chelsea scouts when playing for his local club Redcar Boys' Club.The Blues offered him a professional contract in 1950, and he went on to score 23 goals in 74 appearances for the club in his five-year stint and was part of the Chelsea side that won the First Division title in 1954-55.Tottenham decided to sign Smith in December 1955 for a £18,000 fee, and he went on to win a famous double with the club in the 1960-61 season. He scored 33 goals in 43 games that season, including two in the FA Cup final.To date, Smith is one of Tottenham's all-time top goal scorers, third behind Harry Kane and Jimmy Greaves with 208 goals in 317 matches, including 12 hat-tricks.

Born in Sunderland, Micky aka Michael Hazard was scouted by Tottenham Hotspur at a very young age before later joining their academy and signing a professional contract with the club in 1978.In 1980, he made his league debut for Spurs at the age of 20 and was a member of their team that won the 1982 FA Cup and 1984 Uefa Cup. He made his mark at the club in the 1984 Uefa Cup final, where his crosses led to goals in both legs against Anderlecht.After 91 appearances and 13 goals for Spurs, Hazard moved to Chelsea in September 1985 for a&nbsp;£300,000 fee and went on to play 81 matches for the Blues.Hazard returned to Spurs in 1993 and retired at the club in 1995.

Gus Poyet arrived at Chelsea on a free transfer in June 1997, making 145 appearances in four years, scoring 49 goals, and winning the FA Cup and Cup Winners' Cup.Among his many incredible moments at Chelsea, the one moment that stood out was his incredible scissor-kick goal against Sunderland in 1999.The creative midfielder would be regarded as a true hero among the Stamford Bridge faithful if it was not for him joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2001.In his debut season for Spurs, Poyet scored 14 goals, before injury issues limited his overall stint at the club to just 82 appearances in three years.

Jimmy Greaves scored on his First Division debut for Chelsea in August 1957 against Tottenham at the age of just 17 in a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.Over the next four years, he went on to score 132 goals for the Blues before joining Milan in 1961.Greaves played just half a season in Italy and Tottenham signed him for £99,999 in December with the intention of relieving him of the pressure of being the first £100,000 player in British football.

Scott Parker arrived at Chelsea in 2004 for £10 million but could not make a mark at the club, as he was sold to Newcastle the following year. After 55 appearances at St. James' Park, West Ham signed Parker in 2007. He made over 100 appearances for the Hammers before Tottenham brought him to White Hart Lane in 2013.Carlo Cudicini played as goalkeeper for Chelsea between 2000-2009 and made 141 appearances before joining Tottenham, where he was mostly benched for three seasons.Eidur Gudjohnsen attained legendary status at Chelsea, making over 180 appearances, scoring 54 goals between 2000 and 2006. Following stints at Barcelona and Monaco, the Iceland forward joined Tottenham on loan in 2010, making 11 appearances in a short spell.
