<p>The Egyptian international came off the bench during their DFB Pokal second-round match on Wednesday with the game at 1-1, before bagging the winner 20 minutes from time. As the 25-year-old wheeled away in celebration for 10-man Frankfurt, he put on a mask with fake blood on it as they advanced to round three of the competition.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Marmoush has been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-told-to-pay-up-for-omar-marmoush-eintracht-frankfurt-asking-price-egypt-forward-revealed/blt786224414b65fd75" target="_blank">linked with a move to Liverpool</a> after scoring 10 goals in 12 matches for the Bundesliga outfit this season. His contract runs until 2027 and if his form continues, the German team will be in a strong position when it comes to potential transfer negotiations.</p>

<p>Marmoush holds Canadian citizenship through his Egyptian-Canadian parents who lived in Canada for six years. They later resettled in Cairo, where Marmoush was raised, before the forward began playing football with Wadi Degla's youth academy. </p>
