The 30-year-old got on the scoresheet to put Bayern 2-1 up against Borussia Monchengladbach following goals from Aleksandra Pavlovic for Thomas Tuchel's men and Nicol Elvedi for the visitors; before Matthijs de Ligt added a third late on. That means Kane ties Toni's mark of 24 goals in his first season following his move to Munich in 2007. The England captain has scored 28 goals in all competitions so far this campaign since his summer move from Tottenham.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Kane moved to the German giants from Spurs for <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/revealed-fee-bayern-munich-paid-harry-kane-100m-transfer-tottenham-england-striker/blt574fb10ccbd8169d" target="_blank">£82 million ($100m)</a> and while that is still a big fee, the England captain has proven to be something of a bargain so far. The striker is on track to beat Robert Lewandowski's record of 41 goals in a league season, a feat he achieved in 2020-21. So far, Kane can certainly feel vindicated for making the big move away from Tottenham.

Kane, who also had loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City, and Leicester City, has scored 62 goals for England in 89 caps, making him his country's all-time top scorer and during his decade-long spell at Tottenham he bagged 280 goals in 435 matches.
