<p>The Bayern marksman bagged an assist against Eintracht Frankfurt, scored a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/harry-kane-bayern-munich-stuttgart/blt80d1f877b88db8a4" target="_blank">hat-trick against Stuttgart,</a> and got on the scoresheet against VFL Bochum to cap off a memorable October. Now, the Bundesliga have named him their Player of the Month; beating out RB Leipzig's Willi Orban, SC Freiburg's Ritsu Doan and Vincenzo Grifo, Borussia Monchengladbach's Tim Kleindienst, and Union Berlin's Tom Rothe.</p><p></p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Kane's goals are proving to be invaluable for Bayern, who sit top of the Bundesliga by five points and are on course to take back the title they <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/neverkusen-no-more-how-xabi-alonso-bayer-leverkusen-won-first-bundesliga-title-bayern-munich/blt51f4647cd527170c" target="_blank">lost to Bayer Leverkusen last season</a>. The England captain has scored a whopping 17 goals and created nine assists in just 16 matches in all competitions this term.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>According to the Bundesliga, this award was created by the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga in 2018/19. The award is decided through a two-stage selection process that considers the players' performances and a vote by fans and experts. Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush won the accolade for September 2024.</p>
