<p>The England international has taken Spanish football by storm since joining Los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund ahead of the 2023/24 season. <p>Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland, who was in <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/lionel-messi-inter-miami-nominated-laureus-world-sports-award-jude-bellingham-erling-haaland/blt856280d10249d2d3#cs2079a28026ed91f0" target="_blank">contention for the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year</a>, lost the award to Tennis legend Novak Djokovic. Haaland enjoyed a terrific run of form in his debut season with the Cityzens as he scored 51 goals in 52 appearances and won the treble with the English side in the 2022/23 campaign. </p>
