<p>The 25-year-old midfielder <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/always-messi-mac-allister-argentina-epic-world-cup-final-france/blt618ebbabb07d7c43" target="_blank">helped his nation to global glory at Qatar 2022</a> and was joined on the field for post-match celebrations by Mayan – as they posed for photos with the most famous of trophies. Mac Allister is said to have separated from his model partner in the immediate aftermath of that triumph – with a big-money transfer from Brighton to Liverpool being completed a matter of months later.</p>

<p>Mayan has filed a lawsuit against Mac Allister, in which she is demanding financial compensation for the years that they spent living together outside of Argentina. <p>Mac Allister has told reporters when quizzed on the matter, per <a href="https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-alexis-macallister-camila-mayan-34100034#google_vignette " target="_blank"><em>The Mirror</em></a>: “There was no more relationship. She took her path, I took mine, and that’s it. As for the other thing (the lawsuit), everything is in court, where it should be, and we are waiting. At the time we discussed what we needed to discuss, but it was clearly her decision, everything is fine and she is within her rights.”</p>
