Orlando Pirates proved too strong for Mamelodi Sundowns as they ran out 3-0 winners in Saturday's MTN8 semi-final second-leg clash on Saturday. Monnapule Saleng produced a Man of the Match display at Peter Mokaba Stadium, but the left-footed player was not the only Bucs player who had a great game. Pirates' second-choice keeper silenced his doubters who had questioned his ability coming into the game. Mpontshane displayed good decision-making, confidence, positioning and handling as he made seven saves&nbsp;- keeping Masandawana at bay and kept a clean sheet in the process.

Siyabonga Mpontshane - 7.5/10

Resolute performance in defence and also dangerous&nbsp;going forward. Monyane kept Gaston Sirino in check throughout the match and he was a threat to the Downs defence when he pushed forward.

Thabiso Monyane - 7/10

A lively figure in the left flank. Hotto didn't have much to do defensively but was a force going forward and tormented Khuliso Mudau. However, he was indecisive in the final third at times.

Deon Hotto 6.5/10

Stepped up to the plate in Polokwane to deliver a good display.&nbsp; Sibisi read the game well, making important interceptions, and clearances, when Downs were playing crosses and short passes in Pirares'&nbsp;half.

Nkosinathi Sibisi - 7/10

Played at the heart of the defensive three. Ndah dealt with offensive threats adequately and displayed great passing to enable Pirates' build-up play. His aerial prowess was also important for Bucs when defending.

Olisa Ndah - 7.5/10

Put in a decent performance. Maela formed a good passing partnership with Hotto on the left wing. However, he seemed to lack a yard of pace on occasion but ultimately finished the game with a clean sheet

Innocent Maela - 6.5/10

Stuck to basics as a holding midfielder. Timm stayed at the base of the midfield and helped rotate the ball and keep possession. Unfortunately, he will miss next weekend's clash which is against Kaizer Chiefs due to suspension.

Miguel Timm - 7/10

Rarely got a pass wrong&nbsp; Ndlondlo took Sundowns to the cleaners with his vision and link-up play in the middle of the park, but he was substituted just before the hour-mark while looking tired.

Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo - 6.5/10

Had an excellent outing. Saleng was a constant thorn in the side of Sundowns' defence, often delivering dangerous passes and crosses into the box. His pace and dribbling often had Downs' defenders in a fix. He grabbed an assist before scoring twice and he was deservedly named Man of the Match.

Monnapule Saleng - 10/10

Deployed on the right side of Bucs' attack. Makaringe's passing was average, barring a couple of creative passes to unlock Downs' defence. He was substituted at the same time as Ndlondlo.

Fortune Makaringe - 6/10

Put in a good performance against his former club. Erasmus started well when he took up a great position and scored the opening goal. His movement and link-up were great throughout the game.&nbsp;

Kermit Erasmus - 7.5/10

Helped Pirates regain control of the midfield when he came on in the 59th minute - showing good passing and tackling abilities.He provided an assist for Saleng's third goal.

Ben Motshwari - 7/10

Brought some energy when he came on in the 60th minute and he carried the ball into Downs' half where he combined well with his teammates.&nbsp;

Goodman Mosele - 6.5/10

Replaced Erasmus with 17 minutes left and he made some promising runs with the ball which saw him grab an assist when Saleng netted his second goal.

Zakhele Lepasa - 6.5/10

Bombed up and down the wing to provide width for his teammates after coming on in the 73rd minute, but he couldn't create any meaningful chances.

Paseko Mako - 5.5/10
