<p>Members of the New York Sirens ice hockey team participated in the New York Red Bulls' "Send the Bulls" event at Sports Illustrated Stadium before the club’s 2-1 victory over Toronto FC on MLS Matchday 5 of the season.</p><p>The Sirens' appearance brought an unexpected twist to the pre-game festivities as they followed <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/harold-and-kumar-star-kal-penn-kicks-off-new-york-red-bulls-inaugural-send-the-bulls-event/bltf59f256be6f541a7" target="_self">actor Kal Penn</a> and former NHL star Travis Zajac to take part in the event. The players included Sirens' stars Olivia Knowles and Taylor Girard, with fans watching on in awe.</p>

<p>The Sirens are currently in their inaugural 2024-25 season and they sit in sixth place in the league standings with 30 points from 26 games played. Their record shows 6 wins, 4 overtime wins, 4 overtime losses, and 12 regulation losses through the season so far. The Sirens have scored 65 goals while conceding 75, resulting in a goal difference of -10.</p><p>The "Send the Bulls" initiative represents a new approach to fan engagement for the New York Red Bulls, combining celebrity appearances with interactive soccer experiences.</p>
