<p>After being asked about the racist abuse he has received since joining Real Madrid, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/video-real-madrid-vinicius-jr-breaks-down-tears-racial-abuse-brazil-spain/blt92eae6de663576e9" target="_blank">the Brazil international started crying and admitted</a>: "Sometimes I have less and less desire to play but I want to keep fighting."</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The 23-year-old's emotional display apparently did not sit well with Chilavert, though, as a social media account associated with the goalkeeper criticised Vinicius. A reply from the account to the video of the Real Madrid star's emotional outburst read: "Bread and circus, he is the first one to insult and attack rivals. WHAT CHILAVERT'S ACCOUNT SAID

<p>Vinicius has been the victim of racist abuse on several occasions in Spain. After a high-profile incident against Valencia last season, the attacker voiced his anger on social media and said <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-my/news/vinicius-junior-championship-ronaldinho-ronaldo-cristiano-lionel-messi-racists/blt0030743fbc314497" target="_blank">La Liga "belongs to racists"</a>. He has since <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/news/real-madrid-vinicius-junior-fight-racism-spain/bltc137f13a5c8ab069" target="_blank">vowed to keep fighting against racism in Spain</a> so that future generations do not have to suffer such abuse.</p><p></p>
