Moreover, no final decision on the future of the ex-Ajax boss has yet been made.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Ratcliffe's INEOS group have been carrying out a review of United's season under Ten Hag, which included <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/not-good-enough-erik-ten-hag-reacts-man-utd-worst-ever-premier-league-finish-despite-final-day-win-brighton/blt484460745df1e677" target="_blank">finishing eighth in the Premier League</a>, crashing out early in the Carabao Cup and Champions League but also <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-player-ratings-vs-man-city-alejandro-garnacho-kobbie-mainoo/blte333646e571e3457" target="_blank">winning the FA Cup</a>. The Dutchman repeatedly stressed the club's injury list hurt their results and while that is being taken into consideration, it may not save his United job. A huge decision lies ahead for the club.
