Latest Transfer Betting: Pogba odds-on to stay at Manchester United despite Real Madrid interest

Paul Pogba could be set to stay at Manchester United despite seemingly endless rumours of a move away from the Premier League outfit, according to 888Sport.

The online bookmaker make it just 1/2 (1.50) that the French midfielder is still a Red Devils player on September 3 2019, despite him telling reporters in Tokyo “it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else."

Continued interest from Real Madrid and Juventus means they are still well in the running to sign Pogba, who scored 16 goals and added 11 assists last season after excelling under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Real have reportedly made Pogba their top target for the remainder of the summer, ahead of Christian Eriksen, having already signed Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy since the start of June.

It is 6/5 (2.20) that the World Cup winner moves to the Spanish capital before September 3 as Zinedine Zidane looks to continue his squad overhaul following poor showings in La Liga and the Champions League last season.

However, Goal reports that Real are in no rush to sign Pogba and that could open the door for a return to Juventus just three years after leaving the Italian giants.

888Sport offer 7/4 (2.75) that Juve re-sign the man they sold to United for £89 million (€105m) in 2016, although they would likely have to pay somewhere in the region of £116m to £125m (€130m to €140m).

The Serie A champions, who recently appointed Maurizio Sarri to lead their Champions League charge, are yet to sign any players this summer but could make their second big money transfer in as many seasons after landing Cristiano Ronaldo 12 months ago.

It is 16/1 (17.0) that Paris Saint-Germain land Pogba following reports of a potential swap deal between the 26-year-old and Neymar being nixed by United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

Bayern Munich are 20/1 (21.0) shots with 888Sport to break their transfer record, whilst Barcelona can be backed at 22/1 (23.0) to pip their Clasico rivals to the Frenchman’s signature.
