There is a new man in charge of Brighton as Graham Potter has been appointed to replace Chris Hughton.
Despite leading the Seagulls to Premier League safety, Hughton was fired on May 13 after the club won just two of their last 18 Premier League matches – going from being 11 points clear of relegation to surviving by just two points.
They lost 11 of those 18 games and one of the biggest worries was a lack of goals, with the club scoring just 35 all season and going over 11 hours without scoring at one point.

Former Swansea manager Potter’s main task, though, will surely be to guarantee another season of Premier League football, but bet365 go 2/1 (3.0) that Brighton get relegated in their third term.
Potter impressed in his only season in south Wales, recovering from a poor start to guide the Swans to a 10th placed finish and an FA Cup quarter-final, but the odds suggest he has work to do in Brighton.

It is just 2/5 (1.40) that the Seagulls are able to stave off relegation whilst a bottom-half finish is priced at 1/9 (1.11), which would be their third consecutive such campaign since returning to the top-flight.
In fact, Brighton have never finished higher than 13th in the top tier of English football, which came back in 1982, and bet365 go 6/1 (7.0) that they claim an impressive top-half finish in Potter’s debut season.
