- Parker takes over at Club Brugge
- Will manage in Champions League last-16
- Was sacked by Bournemouth in August
WHAT'S HAPPENING? Club Brugge, who are the reigning champions of the Belgian Pro League, are currently struggling in fourth position in the league table, 12 points behind leaders Genk. They have attempted to reverse that decline by looking to none other than Scott Parker, who was dismissed by Bournemouth back in August.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Parker managed Bournemouth in the Premier League after gaining promotion but the Cherries parted ways with the ex-Chelsea midfielder after just four matches of the season. He will, however, get a taste of the Champions League knockouts as he looks forward to a two-legged affair with Benfica in the last 16.
