Sheffield United host Swansea City at Bramall Lane as the two sides look to start well on their quest to return to the Premier League.
Relegated from the top flight last season, Swansea are 4/1 (5.0) for 2018-19 promotion with bet365, while United are 9/1 (10.0) in the same market.
Latest odds
The South Yorkshire outfit, 5/4 (2.25) for victory, haven’t lost a home league game to Swansea since 1939 and lost just six league games at Bramall Lane last term.
Potter’s men are 21/10 (3.10) to end that unwanted record, have a potential match-winner in Oliver McBurnie. A draw, meanwhile, is 12/5 (3.4).

Team News
Goalkeeper Dean Henderson and centre-back John Egan could come into the side, while fellow new boy David McGoldrick might be given the nod over forward Leon Clarke in a 3-4-1-2.
Swansea could also deploy wing-backs, with Kyle Naughton on the right and Matt Grimes on the left, with their two new mercurial talents Barrie McKay and Bersant Celina set to start in attack.
Sharp to strike?
Wilder hasn’t added an out-and-out striker this summer as McGoldrick normally plays a deeper, more creative role, so poacher Billy Sharp remains vital.
Although the 32-year-old isn’t quite as quick as he used to be, he retains that goalscoring instinct and is an attractive 2/1 (3.0) in the anytime goalscorer market.
Preview and predictions
Swansea could kick-off with a young side as Potter looks to re-build, so a trip to a raucous Bramall Lane against a good Sheffield United side could provide a baptism of fire.
Three of the last six sides to be relegated from the Premier League have lost their Championship opener the following season, so we’ll take the outright price on a home win at 5/4 (2.25).
