Barcelona sit top of LaLiga with 21 points from seven games, five clear of Atletico Madrid in second, and the club's priority now is managing the demands placed on a squad stretched by a long international break. Hansi Flick faces a delicate balancing act as stars like Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon return from international duty having played heavily, with burnout a genuine concern ahead of a packed domestic schedule, as reported by GOAL. The teenage winger has been the subject of widespread praise, with former Barcelona great Andres Iniesta describing his rise as extraordinary and unlike anything he had witnessed since Lionel Messi, as GOAL covered. Former Golden Boy winner Anderson told GOAL there is simply no one comparable to Yamal among world football's emerging talents, with the Spaniard now considered a serious Ballon d'Or contender following Spain's World Cup triumph. Off the pitch, Barcelona have moved to secure their future by locking down Raphinha on a new contract, with deals for rising stars Gerard Martin and Brian Farinas also in progress. There are also growing questions over Alejandro Balde, whose game time has dropped sharply under Flick, prompting reported interest from PSG and both Manchester clubs, according to GOAL. Barcelona host Getafe at Spotify Camp Nou on October 10, a fixture that offers Flick a chance to extend the club's lead at the summit while carefully managing his most important players.
